"Our pets might just be a small part of our world. But to them, we are their whole world."
Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery for dogs is now available in Singapore.
A pioneering new treatment for Congestive Heart Failure is now available in Singapore at Atlas Veterinary Clinic & Surgery (@atlasvetsg). This Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery called Trans-catheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) has been used widely in humans. Results from a surgery programme in 40 dogs at Colorado State University suggest that dogs have a low complication rate (95% success rate) and can benefit greatly from the operation. This surgery is now done worldwide in vet hospitals with hundreds of successful cases.
- The risks of the minimally invasive technique are much lower than conventional open heart surgery.
- The benefits include reduced heart disease severity, reduced medicine use and improved exercise capability.
With our overseas visiting team, we are proud to be among the FIRST to provide this life-changing surgery in Singapore. If your dog is suffering from Congestive Heart Failure, please reach out for more details.
And just like how the Greek Titan, Atlas, supports the whole world on his shoulders, Atlas Vet serves to support the world which our beloved pets hold so dearly.

Hi, Dr Chow here. I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015 and am one of the founders of Atlas Veterinary Clinic & Surgery.
In 2017, I was given the opportunity to help out at SPCA and was heavily involved in the upgrade of SPCA Community Animal Clinic in 2018.
Since then, it was a whirlwind of heroic animal rescues and memorable veterinary interventions with its fair share of ups and downs.
Late 2021, I decided to branch off and build my own veterinary clinic with Dr Veevien Chan (my wife) to elevate our professional skills to the next level.
Armed with the latest veterinary equipment, Atlas Veterinary Clinic & Surgery was born.
The clinic facilities reflects my keen interest in Surgery & Anaesthesia as I work on completing my postgraduate diploma in Small Animal Surgery.
Over the years, I had the honour and privilege of travelling around the world to learn from different specialists from many countries like Hong Kong, Australia and England. 🌎
With the rest of our team, I look forward to doing our best for your beloved pets.
"Because we are their entire world."
- Dr Haoting Chow, DVM (Melbourne)
